Seward Mountain Trail is a 14 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Newcomb, New York that offers the chance to see wildlife and is rated as difficult. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and birding and is accessible year-round.
Thought we were lost at sunset in Seward Mts. In Adirondacks. Had forgotten the paper map. Remembered I downloaded this app and the contour map of the region. It showed our location (without service) and that we were heading in the right direction. What a relief!
