Pulpit Rock Loop Trail is a 2.5 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Jamesville, New York that features a lake and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and birding and is best used from April until October.
This should be called Clarks Reservation State Park trail as that is where it is located. There is no trail around Jamesville Reservoir which is a couple of miles away. There is an admission fee to the park but is free after Labor Day.
Great trail for hiking. Has numerous trails for all level of hikers.
great for an afternoon hike/walk just to be out there.
Very easy walk. A lot to do, and every once in awhile you can catch hot air balloons taking off
Within Clark Reservation there's tons of hiking across multiple connecting trails (so you can loop back or extend the hike) ranging from woods to rock tables. Not too difficult, but fun enough to keep you interested. I believe there was a $3 parking fee.
