Pelham Bay Park is a 2 mile loop trail located near New York, NY and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking and camping and is accessible year-round.

Great hike in the NYC backyard. Not sure I'd recommend it for a Summer weekend hike, but if you are looking for a great Spring or Fall hike this is a must. The backend of the hike is along the water and at low tide you have a few "interesting" options to get yourself in some fun trouble.
Nice loops in the bushes near the bbq area.
Nice little walk close to the city. Very easy with some pretty views of the water.
I went in the winter. Orchard beach is beautiful and mostly empty. Hiked Twin Island which is at tge end if tge beach. Serene and peaceful. Hunters Island is my next try and a bigger hike.
