Normans Kill Preserve - West Trail is a 1.1 mile loop trail located near Delmar, New York that features a great forest setting. The trail is good for all skill levels and primarily used for hiking and walking. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

This property is 30 acres in size. Mostly wooded with open fields along the creek. A "musical bridge" spans a small ravine. Over 1 mile of generally easy walking trails, with some steeper slopes. Not that there is no connection between the Normans Kill West and Normans Kill East parcels and thus their respective trails.
I made this hike in February. The nearby highway is audible the whole time. Houses are visible throughout the hike.
Nice easy hike for the kids
Nice cold January day
Nice easy hike through the woods.
