Mountain Lakes Park Trail is a 3.9 mile loop trail located near North Salem, NY and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail.
Initial Gravel Road a little difficult to run on, but once on single tracks trails you'll find it totally worth it. Quiet and well marked with some nice views.
amazing fishing bring a rod
It's an easy hike but was followed by bugs most of our walk.
Great hike.... Bring the bug spray.
Very easy trail. Perfect for beginners. Had a nice time with my group, beautiful day and good company.
White trail leads you to lookout point. Really nice view. Very mild rock scrambling on some trails. Overall trails are easy. Very Peaceful
Orange to blue, to yellow, to green, to orange ; totals 6.5mi. Love the trails. Lost my Mazda car smart key. It's black, keep an eye out.
I discovered the orange trail that's a 3.4 mi loop and it's awesome for trail running! Going to try Mountain biking it today, the last 1/4 mile is technical.
Only discovered 3mi in trails, most of which were bridle /fire roads. There are a nice overlook area with a bench and telescope. Near youth campground.
Well maintained trails are the redeeming factor for this park. The overlook has a good view of the surrounding areas and the highest point in Westchester is very lack luster to say the least.
