Directions from Salamanca, NY: Take SR 17 to Exit 18 which is 11 miles west of Salamanca. Take SR 280 south to reach the Quaker area. The trail begins immediately south of the Quaker Lake entrance. Parking is along the road.

Great trail without the leaves you can enjoy quite the view

tough initial climb, relatively simple hike across ridge thereafter. few spectacular views, but a solid hike.

Nice trail first mile is basically all uphill. Great views in the spring or fall of quaker lake and the allegheny reservoir!!

Very steep! Not too good for backpacking with overnight bags.
