Decent trails, nice in the winter since you will have the trails for yourself. Park in the lighthouse parking area (free in the off season) then walk weston the main road until you see a sign for money pond trail. The trail is a tight single lane, watch out for ticks in high season. Take that trail (green blazes, poorly marked, but fairly easy to distinguish the trail) to seal haulout trail (yellow blazes). Take seal hallout to the coast for a chance to see seals in the winter on the rocks. Walk the off road vehicle trail (res blazes) or the coast back to the lighthouse. Complete circuit took about one and a half hours.
Breathtaking views of the Atlantic. Easy going. Tourist trap but nice just the same. Good local food. Good four wheeling. Good fishing. A nice way to spend the day with friends or family. Lighthouse. Abondoned military base nearby.
Very easy trail. Dramatic coastline views, it is worth the trip through the Hamptons.
