One of the oldest trails in New York apart of the Paunomick Path an old Indian trail which started in Ridge and ends in Montauk. truly challenging ups and downs a science lesson in nature quiet peaceful 3hrs if you do the entire trail easy if hard paced 2.30 for me. Every Hiker has to do it great prep for Mt. Marcy hit this every other day for one week ... your good to go!
good trail, markers for distance and short hills
not bad for long island.
Nothing technical at all. Lots of hills, kinda boring.
This is a Hard trail. Lots of Hills! then more hills!! If your a beginner you may want to try a different trail befor you come here. Also there is very limited parking. They should really expand it. I almost couldent get my car out when i went to leave. I like the trails but I prefer Cathedral Pines for mountain biking.
A good trail for Long Island. A lot of good hills.
perfect trail for this time of the year..
nice mixture of hills and flat sections..Well marked..
Challenging... Pretty good only 14 miles tho.
Excellent hiking trail
Well marked. Did the orange loop very hilly at times
Not very technical at all. Most of the trail Is up and down on smooth single track. Full suspension here is not necessary. not a bad workout If you complete the entire length, one of the top three Mtn bike trails pn Long Island
The orange blazed hiking trail is excellently marked and one of my favorite trail running spots on Long Island. Super hilly and not too rutted out by bike tires as there are separate mountain biking trails. The hits blazed PaumanokPath rolls through here so you can create a hike or run of any distance using that. White Pines section is awesome as there's a crazy canopy providing a lot of shade and protection from rain. Really hilly so if you're running be prepared for a hard run.
Great trail. Well marked hilly nice views varied flora. Great LI hike
