Pleasant Valley Trail is a 2.9 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Georgetown, New York that features a great forest setting and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail.
Follow directions, trailhead is directly on Dugway road, next to bus turnaround.
The trail is OK, can be slightly strenous a times as the first mile is mostly uphill. Trail is very well marked and crosses several small runoff's during its winding up the hill. There is a small pond that is off the trail approximately 100ft at roughly 1 mile in that provides really the only scenerey other then trees. If you like just hiking in the forest and being alone, this is perfect. If your the type who likes a nice waterfall or overlook for all your hard work, look elsewhere.
