Tough but worth it for the great views. We did a two day hike and stayed at Big Hill Shelter.

I did Beech Trail today starting from Country Pond Road southwest toward the major N-S divergence about 3 miles from that point. It was a good 1:15 long hike, scenic, and varied topography.
