Hanging Bog Pond is a 1.9 mile lightly trafficked loop trail located near Caneadea, New York and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, birding, and canoeing and is accessible from June until August.
Ok, let's start with the good points. The views where nice. And that's it. Ok now the bad. The trail was not marked very well, if at all. Thank god, I used my phone and someone else had posted the way they went. A lot of it was trail blazing and bush whacking. Now it is not a full loop. You get to the end and you have to walk back the way you came. Or you can trail blaze, and bush whacking your way to the road. If the trail was marked better, and it was a full loop, this would be a nice trail.
