Pleasant spot for a relatively short, varied hike, with the option to extend your hike exploring all the side trails. The meadow portion of the trail is lovely and the view from the picnic tables overlooking the beaver pond is quintessential bucolic splendor.
**** There was a TON of bear scat along the main trail this August. Just something to be mindful but not afraid of. It's always a good idea to do a little bear encounter refresher.
Beautiful beaver pond! Lots of active beavers! We brought our puppy. Very Great Walk! Lots of benches
Nice trail with lots of benches here and there to take a break. Good scenery too. No problem for kids either.
Great trail! Very muddy after it rains thought
Very nice trails & leisure walk and benches along the trails and water.
We have hiked and snowshoed the trails in the preserve - always fun. We have also been treated to a variety of bird sightings and beavers along the way. Great trails for kids and a good place for an afternoon picnic.
