Beautiful location and scenery. Rented a bike near the visitor center & had a nice ride. You can get right up to the top of the falls. Rated only 4☆ because a lot of the island is under construction with detours.

Way too crowded to be enjoyable. But I suppose that is to be expected.

Pretty flat some rolling hills. There's always a lot of people checking out the Falls.

Worth the trip! Nice hike, pleasant went by much faster that we realized. The views are spectacular. Definitely want to go again. Very kid friendly.

The views are great! Make sure you don't miss Luna Island for a view of the American Falls and Bridal Falls. Three Sister's Island has great views of the rapids. From the Horseshoe Falls view at Terrapin Point, head up the hill and to the right to get some great pictures of the falls without people in them. At the top of the right hand of the hill you will also find the new Nik Wallenda tribute which has a piece of the cable he used to walk across the Falls. This is currently not on any of the maps. One warning if you are hiking with kids, there are no walking paths across the middle of the island, only along the island perimeter. Since cars are allowed on the island, this can make walking a safety challenge!

Goat Island is between the American and Horseshoe Falls, and a great place to enjoy the Niagara Falls.

My first time, but it will not be the last. The walking trail was not very busy once you got away from the falls. It is awesome to stand next to the falls and pleasant to walk around the island.

This is an incredible place! I have been seven or eight times and hope to go many more. The few digital pictures I have are not that good so I may go back and get more. You can stand next to a giant thundering waterfall, a raging rapid on take the trip down to the bottom of the falls. There are crowds but I still gave it five stars. Anything this beautiful, this well know and so easy to get to is bound to be visited by many.
