The trail is beautiful, people leave camping supplies behind for you in case you forgot certain supplies. People are nice and stop to chat with you. The water is perfect for swimming, fishing and boating in. You can hear loons almost 24/7, which is pretty cool.

This is definitely more of a nature walk than a hike as it is very short and has little to no elevation gain. I live near Fawn Lake so it is an excellent place to walk my dog/explore. The trail is mostly packed dirt, however there are a few boardwalks/bridges that flood in rainier seasons. I love this lake because it is usually warmer than most and so it's great to swim in - we call it bathtub lake.

Excellent fall hike for a family. Don't forget to take some of the side trails.

Fun for kids and dogs. Good swimming at destination. Nice walk for a multi age group.
