Excelsior Glen Falls (3 Falls) Trail is a 1 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Burdett, New York that features a waterfall and is rated as difficult. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and birding and is best used from March until November.
Great trail with some nice views, in the Fall with few leaves left on the trees anyway. The multiple waterfalls were beautiful, particularly the larger one near the bottom. Some interesting rock features along the way. There were a couple spots along the trail that were hard due to the incline, but they were short in duration. We did end up with quite a few ticks on us, so definitely, as always, check when you are done.
Falls were dried up due to the lack of rain. It was still a great hike with some cool views. Definitely worth the trip.
dope I would definitely go ...
This is a hidden gem! The main falls is well worth seeing.
