Elizabeth A. Morton National Wildlife Refuge is a 4 mile out and back trail located near Sag Harbor, NY and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking and walking and is accessible year-round.
Great for viewing AND feeding, from the palm of your hand, winter birds like sparrow, titmouse, chickadee. Cardinal and Blue Jay will come real close if you seed the ground near you and stay real still.
Great views!! Nice trails! Unfortunately, we couldn't find unsalted sunflower seeds to feed the birds as that is what is recommended so we watched everyone else feed them lol. Plenty of chipmunks, turtles, birds, swans and a ton of turkeys. Walk down to the beach and watch the ospreys.
