Dwyer Memorial Park is a moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Preble, NY that features a river and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for walking, road biking, and canoeing and is accessible from April until September. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Located at the North End of Little York Lake is this 55 acre park. A softball field, horseshoe pits, boating facilities and children's play areas combine with nature trails for recreation and relaxation. The trails that we followed were actually the park road and were part paved and part dirt. Following these road/trails you can walk from one end of the park to other and the only negative we found was the fact that the highway is right behind the park and can be a bit noisy. It is a beautiful park with open spaces as well as wooded areas and water. A very nice place to walk for adults and kids. Dogs are allowed as long as they are leashed and you clean up after them.
I love it here!!!!
This park offers lots of shaded areas as well as open field areas. If you follow the park road to the right, it goes quite a ways down into the woods and can be muddy after it rains, but there are some beautiful spots down in there, and some are close to the water. The only bad thing we found was that the highway is just on the other side of a line of trees and the noise can be annoying at times. Pets are welcome as long as you clean up after them and they are on leashes. It is a nice place for an easy walk and is kid friendly.
