Clark Gully is a 1.1 mile out and back trail located near Middlesex, New York that features a waterfall. The trail is rated as moderate and primarily used for hiking.
I drove 40 minutes to get here and the entrance in gated off, says it's hunting land.
This place is awesome. The views are incredible. I'll be visiting here again!
Good local hike steep in areas nice views
A short but steep hike with a beautiful gully and great falls. You can scramble down the left side for a view from below and bushwack to the lower falls, to view from the crest of that one. Slippery and steep. Another great ice climbing area for the winter.
Walking along the ridge of the gully gives excellent views of West River. I parked just past the intersection of Sunnyside Rd and West Ave. Very steep hike along the ridge with quite an elevation gain.
be ready to get wet
Intense hike to the top, but the payoffs are great.
