Chadwick Lake is a 4.2 mile heavily trafficked loop trail located near Newburgh, New York that offers the chance to see wildlife and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
dogs on leash
It is a very easy walk. Beautiful lake, okay fishing, row boating, playground, roller rink, biking. The trail is gravel (con) can be busy, good for running, walking or biking
The trail was frozen over a bit when we went in the winter so it was not the best time to take the toddler for a hike there. Also I think you may have to pay to enter the park or maybe that's just in the summer. I'd check online to be sure.
nice walk around the lake
This is a nice walk around the lake. They recently added a little easy incline, mountain hike as its called on the trail.
Easy family walk.
Well maintained gravel trail. With little to no elevation gain-loss. Great for running and daily walks.
It's close to home, it is gravel as others have said..... but it's a "go to" trail at a local park to stretch the legs and run the puppy!
The puppy and I do it just for the exercise.....young dog and old man! LOL!!!
Its an alright nature walk, and one of my favorite running trails, too bad its all gravel
