Conditions: Icy and cold, fresh powder on top of ice
First mile would have been much worse if I did not have micro-spikes due to the steep incline covered in ice- was a load of fun on the way down though!
After the first mile, it flattened out mostly, with a +/- incline at about 30 degrees. Summit view was not satisfying, as it was very foggy.
Very nice hike, manageable distance. Was not impressed with the view at the summit. We did go on a very foggy day though. Be wary of pot holes when you park.
Nice hike; great clearing at the summit. Took around an hour and 15 minutes to get to the summit from the parking lot. Starts very steep but then becomes much more gradual.
Tough steep climb right at the beginning! Followed the TCT signs, well marked and nice path. Lots of side trails though. Wish there was a sign at the top! Great exercise for me and my dog.
Great hike. Mt grey lock is visible from the top on a clear day.
