This is a great beginner trail run. Clean. Beautiful. Hilly but not too.
I visit Avalon very frequently each year during the summer, and even a few times during the winter months each year. This trail is kept and maintained very well and the farm preserve is one of the most beautiful places in the area.
Starts off very scenic down by the lake/pond, goes up a few steps and you have a real nice place to enjoy a snack or read a book. Once you cross the road it opens up into a big field and then cross another road for another field. Finish back through the woods.
Good workout and good scenery
Really pretty and pet friendly. I did get a little confused with which trail I was in at one point and couldn't seem to find my way to the barn area, but it was a beautiful walk anyway!
lots of fun easy trails. great scenery.
Great experience getting back into the outdoors.
Great hike that has a little bit of everything
Parked in the shep Jones lot and walked just about the entire yellow trail and switched off to the red just before we ended the yellow loop. Was a great 3.5 mile morning hike that ended with a young buck and doe playing in the Vinyard off harbor.
Great little hike. Not too tough and a lot of little nooks as you hike around. Great trail to bring your fur kids on.
