Corrales: Acequias - Bosque Preserve is a 7.4 mile loop trail located near Corrales, New Mexico. The trail is good for all skill levels and primarily used for hiking and walking.
Peaceful walk, not strenuous at all. Ground was even, kid friendly. Pretty muddy this time of year though.
Easy, with a pretty view of the river right next to you. Very easy to walk alongside.
Super easy trail along the Rio Grande. Don't have a lot of time, this is worth a peak to walk along the river and through the cottonwoods. Note Mosquitoes can be bad in the Warm months, especially along the water. One perk is during the winter is migrating birds like geese, Sandhill Cranes and ducks visit here. After the hike, to Corrales and visit some the shops or restaurants.
Easy hike, nice views of beautiful homes and horses. There is an entry by the community center where there is a cute man made pond and grassy area. Probaly not good for little children if they run because there are lots of arroyos and water ways where somebody can tumble in if not paying attention. I saw many horse owners riding the trail and a giant bullfrog.
