The Barnegat Peninsula is a 25 mile loop trail located near Point Pleasant Beach, New Jersey and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for road biking and is accessible from March until November.
The loop can be found walking up under the electric towers and away from the roads you can see in the distance. Eventually on your right you will see a new trailhead after passing all the swamps and it is a loop. I don't recommend going in the Summer heat if your not used to it and yes there are ants that bight too. It is a very natural central florida environment that is fun to explore and get a glimpse of what Florida looked like before all the development. Its so flat too, florida is a flat piece of land. I suggest wearing water proof boots because parts of the loop trail may be flooded over.
I don't understand why this is on here. It is a suburban neighborhood.
