Walked on Washington Bridge, reached Fort Lee, took Edgewater Entrance, down to the shore path (W) walking under Washington bridge. Continued until arriving to Englewood picnic area, took the Y path on the left and climbed on cliff for the view. Went north on A (Aqua) until reaching High Tom's Clinton Point (depending on time)
Then went back to WB on A trail.
Approx 13 miles. Great views on Hudson Valley. Easy access from Manhattan. The A trail is too close to highway but W shore trail is more quiet. Nice destination for hikers and great alternative for NYC runners.

Note* I would usually run the loop going from Ross Dock to Englewood Boat Basin. Going up, going down, and the bottom straightaway are wonderful, but the top runs pretty close to 9W, but good view. All in all its a solid little hike. Nice little waterfall near the boat basin. Further up North in the park has some more secluded trails.

Pretty cool hike. Only challenging part was going up and once reaching the beginning of the aqua it was a little challenging.Got a little boring when walking on the trail that runs along the parkway. But overall great hike with awesome veiws every once Iin a while.

Let me start by saying that we did not do the entire 8.7 mile loop, BECAUSE WE could not wait to get off of the aqua trail that walks you along the highway! It is loud and not my idea of hiking at all. We completed almost 6 miles and enjoyed the white trail along the Hudson. I personally would not recommend this hike. Peanut loop is not far away and I highly rate that with 5 stars

fairly easy hike with great views of the hudson and the cliffs. there are plenty of great views along on top of the cliffs. there is only one section which you have a steep climb and only lasts about a third of a mile. would definitely recommend to all types of hikers.
