Wilder Hill Trail is a 2.4 mile lightly trafficked loop trail located near Keene, New Hampshire that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round.
A forested trail that leads visitors through young forest to Luther Wilder’s 1700’s farmstead, now reduced to a cellar hole. The hemlock, beech and maple have reclaimed land the Wilder family once managed for blueberries. This trail starts at the trail head and is the official access point for the preserve; it is the only entrance that provides trail maps. This Preserve is managed by The Nature Conservancy, and is an excellent place for walking and observing wildlife. Camping, fires, pets, or wheeled vehicles are not permitted on the preserve.
