Wales Loop Trail is a 1.4 mile lightly trafficked loop trail located near New Ipswich, New Hampshire that features a river and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round.
Between the rushing sounds of the river, the deep hemlock forest and banks of ferns and wildflowers, a 1.2-mile trail follows along the banks of the scenic Gridley River. You will pass several cascades and small waterfalls on this easy nature-walk. . This Preserve is managed by The Nature Conservancy, and is an excellent place for walking and observing wildlife. Camping, fires, pets, or wheeled vehicles are not permitted on the preserve.
