Scenic Waterfall, short easy hike for all ages Lovely small waterfall just 1/2 mile from the Kancamagus highway. A nice spot to stop for an easy refreshing hike. This hike can be make by people of all ages. There are benchs along the trail for people to rest. The trail has a mini loop around and above the falls with wooden rails. It is technically open in the summer / fall because it would be easy to slide into the river when it is icy or snowy. Use extreme caution if you visit it in the early spring or winter.
Short easy trail. Wide and clear. We hike with our young children and this was very fun for them.
Quick, easy trail with beautiful falls. A bit crowded.
Easy trail, busy but beautiful
Short and easy hike, but with awesome views of the falls!
Since we had a mild winter it was perfect to do a winter hike...and well worth it....

Great hike, very easy.. Falls were beautiful!
Easy trail with a fast flowing waterfall and beautiful clear pools, awesome!
The boardwalks are still closed and have quite a bit of ice on them, but if you take the upper trail, you can easily come back down to the overlook bridge.
Nice short easy hike to the thawed out Falls. Great pictures to snap in varying light conditions - late afternoon.
Awesome beautiful falls! Different every season!
Just visited this very short out and back with my 2 kids. I'm reviewing this as a "5 star" trail simply due to the fact that its such an ideal little "hike" for anyone with children 6 and under. The view is beautiful and the trail is wide, well-defined, and generally very safe for kids, aka no sheer drop-offs or extreme bush whacking to get to the attraction of the locale. The path follows alongside the brook the entire way giving kids and everyone for that matter an interesting view from start to picturesque finish. There are plenty of spots for amazing photo ops for such a geographically short trail. It was raining off and on during our visit and it was still a stunning stroll. The smell of the surrounding forest whilst wet was an unmatched olfactory event :) This is a great little diversion for those with little people in tow while touring the White Mountains and the Kancamagus Highway.
Nice walk to the fall, not for bathing. I had my 3 year old plus a dog .
Short, easy hike to a pretty waterfall.
Beautiful easy hike along a stream with a waterfall at the end! Definitely worth a look!
Easy in & out hike. Suitable for anyone at any age. Awesome waterfall at the end.
