The Partridge Brook Trail works up from the parking area and begins the forested half mile climb up to the May-December and the Cave Loop Trails. It is a short but vigorous trail that crosses small streams and passes a locally famous spring fed well dug by a local handy man at Ruth Warwick’s request for local wildlife. This Preserve is managed by The Nature Conservancy, and is an excellent place for walking and observing wildlife. Camping, fires, pets, or wheeled vehicles are not permitted on the preserve.
