The Oliverian Trail may not be a heart pumping/workout trail, but it is so easy going and simply gorgeous especially during the fall time. It is also a pretty quiet trail as we only saw 3 people when we were out and about. We will try again in the late summer :)
LOVE LOVE NH!
Wish I could have done more. We decided to go up the Passaconway trail to do a circuit. unfortunately due to time limitations etc we turned round. The trail started very flat and as we got further into Passaconway trail the elevation started to increase. There was nothing too extreme on the trail as far as we went. Next time we will try and do a loop and maybe bag a peak!
Took it to get to Passaconaway, great easy trail. Would be great for all ages and fitness levels.
This is a long and mostly flat trail that leads to the base of Mt. Passaconway. It's quite beautiful and scenic as it follows the brook most of the way and crosses at one point (this could be tricky if water level is high). It's a bit of a haul just to get you to the base of the actual mountain hike though; If you're peak-bagging it might be better to approach from the other side and summit Mt. Whiteface as well.
