Moderate trail with some rocks to climb on the top. We went around end of September. It was super windy at the stop but amazing view with some fall colors. The rocks might be slippery and icy during winter. Might go for a hike there again with friends. Our dog loved the hike too.

Great hike with spectacular views from the rocky summit. Don't forget to bring your windbreaker!! Thanks to Craig for keeping the trails clean- and for pointing out which mountains were which at the top!

What a great day. Hike the loop started from Firescrew to Cardigan. Which was a great decision because of ice going up Firescrew. If we went the other way most likely would had to turn around. Would go back again maybe a month later because of the ice. Had micro spikes on which was a life saver. Crampons would of done a better job.

The view was fantastic from the summit. Did this climb in the winter a week after a storm. Took manning up to mowglis, the summit of cardigan was coated in ice but was relatively easy to complete. The whole trip time took 3hrs.

Terrific views of Grafton county and surrounding ski areas! Tower is fun at the top- a hike always filled with laughter and memories!

Very quik easy climb to a rocky summit with great 360 views. My first and only visit thus far was last March with my wife and it was snowing but calm. Great place to get started on winter hiking/snowshoeing.
