May-December Trail is a 1.3 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Peterborough, New Hampshire that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round.
The May-December Trail is a more easy-going path that circles the shoulder of Butterfield Hill. This trail rewards her visitors with broad views through park like Pennsylvania Sedge woodland. This unique woodland is characterized by a canopy of hickory oaks and hop hornbeam. It is also home to a number of wildflowers and spring ephemerals. This Preserve is managed by The Nature Conservancy, and is an excellent place for walking and observing wildlife. Camping, fires, pets, or wheeled vehicles are not permitted on the preserve.
