Nice, easy hike
Good and easy little hike. Taking the loop trail to the other summit beyond the fire tire makes for a longer and better hike. The trail from the tower is marked by cairns and the loop coming back isn't well marked at all.
Can be kind of confusing, so be careful, but it's worth the extra little distance.
Blue Job is an easy trail that offers spectacular views from the fire tower on the summit. Mts. Monadnock, Washington, and many others are visible. Take a side trail to the bare summit to the north for even more excellent views.
Love it. Did it before during and after pregnancy with the baby!
Great for the kids
Great day with the kids and dog. The trail was perfect for the kids and drained all there energy. Not many challenges for me.,
Nice short hike. Black flies were awful but that's more or less expected this time of year. The dog loved it!
Very quick and easy hike. Nice view from the fire tower. Bring bug repellent.
Great hiking. Nice view from the fire tower area. We can easily follow the route even in woods due to plenty of marking. Slopes are gentle so we can walk easily but it is enough to have an exercise. But today a lot of ice made a slippery trail due to melted snows so we should largely take care of it.
Easy and well marked on the South side. No blazes on North not easy to follow. A bit of an incline but good footing most of the way but a bit if ice on the rocks.
Lovely hike, easy, dog friendly. A few water features and two peaks to take I views. Pack a picnic. A bit of a drive, but worth it.
It was a great hike. There was gigantic puddles and damp trails, but I don't mind that. If anything it was gunner for my son. The only issue was the trail markers stopped a quarter way into the hike. This caused confusion. The map on this app though led us back to a beaten path. We will do this hike again, and hopefully find the fire tower.
Right hand trail is shorter but more rocky and more steep then left hand trail. Fire tower at the top has beautiful views.
Did this trail late last summer with a few friends and our dog. Easy, gradual grade and the old firetower has stairs up to the platform that give you a great view of the a section of the Merrimack valley. The fire tower made this hike worth while for me.
Great quick hike to take the kids
Nice hike with some really good views from atop the fire tower. Trails were easy to follow and I would say it's a pretty good kid-friendly hike too.
