Heron Point Trail is a 0.7 mile lightly trafficked loop trail located near Newmarket, New Hampshire that features a waterfall and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, and fishing and is best used from April until October.
Nice trail along the river. There are some large boulders (house sized) to scramble on.
Short and sweet. Great place for a lunch break or just to meditate. The platforms and walks are beautiful. Good views of the river.
I love the platform, and as others have said, it is the perfect place for a picnic. Beautiful views of the river and the mill buildings. However, I've never been able to find an established trail more than a quarter mile long. Although there is a map at the "trail" head, it is not well marked and established trails simply seem non existent.
Good place to walk in and have a picnic
Nice spot with a nice view. You don't have to walk anywhere to see the waterfall, theres a platform right where you park. The trails are by the river and not difficult. You can walk down by the water but its a little steep to get down and very muddy. Nice short little walk for a nice day
Some parts of the trail may be handicap accessible. Nice views of an old mill and its water fall. Both trails and boardwalks.
