It was an easy trail. Three other people on the trail when we went. Two friendly off-leash dogs along with my leashed dog. It was extremely easy on the way down and coming back wasn't too bad going up hill (it was a gradual hill). There were several benches on the path along with a small picnic table. I heard the trickling of water the whole way and was able to take some nice pictures.
Sweet little paved trail that is .8 mi down, then .8 mi back up the hill. You enjoy the trickling of Morgan Creek while you walk. This trail has lots of southern and western exposure-great for early morning or early evening walk. Bring water!
3 Stars (keeps changing)
Nice walk on a paved surface. Many sweet plants & dragonflies. Found some milkweed. Great standing stones on either side of the trail.
I have just started with a fitness routine of walking 2 miles per day and local easy hikes in the weekends with the kids. This trail is very beautiful and we were the only ones on the trail. For me and my family as new people to hiking and local trails it was a lot of walking uphill back to the car and in the 90 degree heat was certainly a good work out. Would love to do it in the fall when it's a little cooker and I am more in shape.
Easy but scenic
Nice paved trail through a canyon alongside a drainage steam in the Somersett community.
