This is Craig Ranch Regional Park on the NE side of Las Vegas.
The best park I've been to anywhere near Vegas! Huge, lush and green with tons of trees, tons of open areas, playgrounds, picnic places. The dog park was excellent with lots of shady trees as well.
Wanted to get away from traffic of The Strip, so found this park for morning walk. Very nice park for walking, jogging or bike ride. The outer loop registered 1.7 miles for me, but there are many cross paths to keep it from getting boring. I was there from 7-8:30 with temperatures 85-91 in July. It was not too hot with some parts in shade.
Fabulous creative playgrounds, large green spaces, sports fields, clean and safe.
This is one of the best parks in Las Vegas of the 26 on the list. Not all parks have lakes, only a few has them and this park in particular is one of the larger parks with a lake. Currently around 50% of the park are enclosed for repairs, probably for renovation? Pretty safe looking park because there were no transients in the vicinity. There’s plenty of lawn and they’re green. They installed some interesting structures that look like sculptures. The playgrounds and covered table areas were clean. It was a pleasant walk around this park before you approach the fenced off area. Walking next to a chain link fence takes away the park experience. There’s not a lot of shading but this park is perfect for walking and jogging. You can easily get a mile walk in just one lap if not two.
