The 144th Street boulevard trail begins on the north at Standing Bear lake near Ida Street. It lies on both sides street although the prevalent continuous section will favor the west until its connection with the Mopac trail at the junction of Hwy. 50 and Hwy. 370.

I biked figure 8 around both east and west portions of the lake. The trail, as well as the lake were amazingly beautiful!!! Trails were well marked and easy to follow, just make sure you do not take lefts at any forks, which will lead you to nearby neighborhoods. I came across 7 deer grazing by the west lake trail and there were a swan and ducks at a small lagoon of the east lake. On Wednesday morning the trail had barely any traffic. The secret to enjoying this trail is to avoid it during the Zorinsky stampede in the evenings and weekends.

Nice trail. Kind of scenic. Lots of covered areas. Very busy and crowded. Recent rain made it so that the road had to be crossed instead of using the rain. I would recommend this trail at times when not so busy.

Ran this trail twice and got lost both times. They really need to mark this trail better, too many extensions that can easily lead you to nowhere, not much to ask. Also, too many rude people standing on the trail glued to their phones with dogs on leash while allowing their 4 year olds to ride around unguided. Doesn't help when the trails are somewhat narrow too. I gave this trail 2 stars because, I like the layout of the trail itself, lots of shade.

The Full Moon Paddle on Zorinsky lake is the best kept secret in Omaha! There were many paddlers (in all sorts of floating vessels) on the lake watching sunset and moonrise. People decorated their kayaks with lights like Christmas trees! Zorinsky park closes at 11PM. You have plenty of time to enjoy the moonrise show. I wrapped it up at 10PM as moon was getting higher and smaller. It was awesome! It was fun!
There was a very easy beach-like kayak entry at the North-East corner of the larger pond (east of 168th St) a few feet away from a very well lit parking lot. This is great summer night full moon kayaking spot.
P.S. It was actually a kayaking activity. Not sure why alltrails don't have "flatwater kayaking" option in the "activity" menu.

Nothing special but a good lake

This is a nice park trail, that has 2 distinct parts. The east side is open and has a hill where the damn is, the west side has more shade and is pretty level.

It was great in the winter. Fairly well plowed and not too much traffic for a sunny January Sunday afternoon. Dog liked it too.

Really enjoy this trail, but it is a popular spot in Omaha. If you want a more isolated trail, this isn't the trail for you. Even with the numbers of people there on any given day, I enjoy my time there.

Nice trail. I usually ride this one a few times a week and am never bored with it.
