Holland Lake and Falls is a 3.3 mile out and back trail located near Condon, Montana that features a lake and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking and fishing and is best used from May until October.
I'm from MT, so this would definitely be considered an easy trail (from Lodge to Lower Holland Falls), but folks from other states (or with minimal experience hiking) may find this trail more "moderate". Even so, the trail is well-travelled, so there's no guessing where it may lead. The last quarter-mile up to the falls does have a more steep incline and is quite rocky, so step lively! Bring a camera for some breathtaking views of and from the Falls.
Such a beautiful fall day. Fairly easy hike with amazing views
Awesome hike on an easy trail.
Great view from the trail up to the falls! Well worth the hike!
gorgeous and not too difficult! great views!!!!
Beautiful hike, lots of people on trail during weekends
Always a fun hike
The trail is great for a family.. not too long. The waterfall at the end was cool and the mist was refreshing! The rocks were a little bit treacherous and loose around the falls and caution is recommended when taking pictures.
Easy hike with excellent views
Amazing hike in the spring as the water was raging!
This was a nice and easy walk through mostly wooded area which opens to a great view of the lake. Some areas of steeper incline, but rating "easy" is accurate. I walked with my 4 and 7 year olds and we made the view our ending spot, with a snack- they loved it and the gooseberry bushes along the way! It gave a great sense of beauty and accomplishment even though we did not round the corner to the falls. Trail is mostly wide and in good condition. We were not sure if we started out from the right spot, but it seemed to work out alright.
