Georges Gorge Ski Trail is a moderately trafficked point-to-point trail located near Whitefish, Montana that features a lake. The trail is rated as moderate and primarily used for hiking, downhill skiing, and snowboarding.
I hiked Big Mountain in late spring early summer and I found it quite difficult. Great scenery almost the entire way, but couldn't reach the summit due to snow.
This trail is a little bumpy, and lot's of blind corners, you pick up speed really fast even though it isn't that steep. Be moderately cautious as it is next to the main run (caribou) so skiers and snowboarders like to jump in at different spots. It's best in January-February (in my opinion).
