Cold Lakes Trail is a 4.6 mile out and back trail located near Condon, Montana that features a lake. The trail is good for all skill levels and primarily used for hiking, fishing, fly fishing, and horses. Dogs and horses are also able to use this trail.
Took this trail today, it was 86 degrees, but we still found snow near the top. Trail is quite steep the first mile, going basically straight up. Don't think that classifies it as "easy". :). Lake was beautiful, but swarms of mosquitoes make your stay extremely brief. All in all, a good hike, bring the bug spray!!!!
