This was years ago, but I can still hear the wind blowing through the lodge-pole pine.

I remember this ride. It was not much until you got up in the beautiful pass. It has been 3 or 4 years, but I would love to go back and picnic in the pass.

The best scenery is up on US212. Take 212 east until you are up in the mountain pass. There is plenty of room to pull off the road in either direction. Get out and explore the pass. As the wind blows through the lodgepole pine it creates a wonderful, mysterious mood. And it is a beautiful place.
