I stopped by this park today and hiked all the trails, this seems to be designed more for kids and families as there is not much elevation gain and numerous stops along the way. There is an interesting section of limestone rock that the trail goes through.

Okay trail next to Hickory Grove (nicer trail). Good for a short hike. Close to the city.

This is a great short trail that is part of the Burr Oak Woods Conservation Area. It can be linked together with the Hickory Grove and Bethany Falls Trails to form a longer hike, or can be hiked by itself for a pleasant short hike. The trail is well taken care of, has interpretive signs, and we saw lots of local wildlife.

Nice trail that does not allow running (signs posted)....due to the narrowness of some parts I assume. It has a short and long loop, slight hills, and signs indicated it's a one way trail. Since I wanted a good trail run and the parking lot was empty...you get it right? I incorporated it with the Hickory Grove Trail that is right next to it that does allow running. Pretty area!

The trail is a nice urban trail that is close to population center. I use it for quick hikes to keep in shape for longer planned hikes away from home.
