White Tail Trail is a 0.5 mile lightly trafficked loop trail located near Santa Fe, Missouri that features a lake and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, camping, and fishing and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

The White Tail loop trail begins and ends at the scenic Buzzards Roost Overlook Area. The trail takes you through a wooded hillside that borders the lake showcasing rock cliffs carved out by the former Salt River, now underwater. The trail at midpoint connects to the 2.5 mile Dogwood Trail
