Cedar Glade trail leads to pink granite Shut-ins on the Castor river, scenic overlook, 2 very OLD cemeteries. The shut-ins trail traverses the Castor River. It is level at this point. There are many easy access points to the river. Be aware of rainy periods this river can get up quite high at times. The trail goes uphill for a short distance, when you get to the top there is a scenic overlook there. Follow the trail back to the parking lot. Notice on the map the two old cemetaries located on this property. If you find the graveyard with the McMurtreys buried there, they were the original land owners. Mr. McMurtrey was born in 1768 his wife Sarah, 1773. Please note that hunting is permitted on this property!

Nice Short trail to special scenic spot. Great area to wade in the summer. Worth the trip.
