Painter Ridge Trail is a 2.8 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Round Spring, MO that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and birding and is accessible from March until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Painter Ridge Trail is a great introduction to hiking and to Echo Bluff State Park. Signed in a clockwise direction of travel, the trail includes two loops. The trail’s route weaves through ravines, along waterfalls and around bluffs where it offers scenic opportunities, including an excellent view of Sinking Creek.
In Missouri's newest State Park, Echo Bluff, the Painter Ridge Trail is comprised of two loops. The south loop being 1.1 miles and the north loop being .9 miles. Nice woodland trail with some beautiful views overlooking Echo Bluff and the main lodge.
There are also two spur trails, one leading down to the special use area and the other leading down to the camping area.
