The Meramec River is one of the longest in Missouri, flowing almost 230 miles as it meanders through the Ozark mountains on the way to the Mississippi River. It is a spring fed class I float stream renowned for its trout fishing. Very Scenic and few signs of civilization in its upper portions. Float launches at the hwy H bridge at Onandoga State Park and ends at the boat ramp in campground 3 in Meramec State Park.
Nice easy float.
