Canebrake and white river corridor is a 0.2 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Branson, MO that features a river and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking and is accessible year-round.
Trail takes you along the river just downstream of the table rock dam. Nice shade along a dirt path.
There are a few trails at the Hatchery along with the Canebrake. there is a lovely bluff trail that is 1.6 mile & the trails that connect directly to Canebrake (Fisherman & Corridor) can create a full loop nearly 2 mile long. The scenery is great, but is can be muddy the day after a rainfall.
Peaceful, beautiful scenery, easy trail.
We've hiked this trail 3 times, and first time it was in the Spring of 2012, offered lovely views of the lake & surrounding areas. Last 2 times we've walked it, was just yesterday & today, with our two dogs. Offered some nice views of the lake, saw geese, woodpeckers, a woodchuck, a blue herron and one snake! He was out in a very open area....dogs didn't even know he was there.
