wonderful view of the Black Creek This was a great hike. My brother and I took the dog, he loved it. No one else was on the trail. This is the beginning of the Black Creek Trail system. The trail winds next to the Black Creek for most of the way. Great scenery! Look for the houses. Did not see much wildlife, but it was the middle of the day. We stopped where the trail crosses Brooklin Rd., but it goes much much further than that.

If you follow the directions from the app it will take you to the exit of the trail just keep driving down and it will take you to a parking lot and the trail head. I hiked it from the end as i didn't know this at first, like the previous post about a half mile in the trail is gone and washed into the creek. However just that short hike was really nice, hopefully it gets fixed soon.

This trail has been rendered completely impassable by the latest floods and weather. Approximately 1/2 mile in where the trail appears to have once followed the river it has been completely washed out. more than one man a dog and a knife can handle. Too bad. The trail liked promising.

Hiked a lot of trails in this area and this one was the best by far. Walked along black creek for most of it with lots of good scenery away from the creek as well.

Great trail. Very clearly marked varying terrain and a good length

Great views of Black Creek. Descent elevation variance for this area. Can't wait to do it again. May camp next time.

Trails are there. Avoid late afternoons in the summer. Bring skeeter spray.
