nice terrain with some beautiful scenery. Plan at least 6-7 days for this trip so you can enjoy some great bass fishing on Gull lake and northern/walleye fishing on crooked. Any less days planned and you will get very exhausted due to the length of this loop. Pictograph cliff is cool. Angleworm portage can get really muddy if there has been a lot of rain. If you plan on camping near basswood falls i would recommend that you get there early because the good campsites fill up fast. I did the trip in 4 days and felt like it was way too crammed so plan on some leisure to relax.
