Lake Elmo Park Trail is a 2.8 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Lake Elmo, Minnesota that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from March until October.
Great park, who knew?!?! 20 miles of multi-use turf trails through woods and prairies. Five loops and five miles of paved trails connect the developed area of the park. The Nordic Center features changing rooms, lockers, flush toilets, drinking found and vending machines.
There are multiple trails at Lake Elmo for you to hike, bike, horseback ride, and cross-country ski. Pets are welcome, but are asked to stay on their leash. There are also three options for coming at Lake Elmo: group camping (multiple tents per site), rustic (walk-ins), and modern (trailers and RVs). The rustic walk-ins are located off the cross-country ski trails. These trails are lit to allow for safe skiing at night.

Great mountain bike option for those wanting to take their beloved beginners out for a nice long and very picturesque ride. Word of warning - at the trailhead located in the park, keep an eye out for horse trailers and then be aware of horses that may share the mb trail with you!
