Nice straight trail crossing the cities. It was a windy, rainy and cool experience. Streets are above the trail so the smoke and noise from the cars won't bother you it is surround by beautiful gardens and nature. You will enjoy it as I did!

Utterly wonderful bike trail, walkers and skaters also may join but a bit flat for hiking. Wide, well-maintained blacktop trail. Crosses from just west of the Mississippi in Minneapolis and heads out past Lakes of the Isles, Calhoun and on. We often hook up with the Cedar Lake trail and head back to St. Paul through downtown Minneapolis, but one can continue through Hopkins and out to Lake Minnetonka. Connects with the Grand Rounds trails, so there are many options to extend your ride.
